Hyne Timber, James Jones & Sons Ltd’s Australian subsidiary, has announced a majority owned partnership with Rocky Point Pty Ltd, based near Brisbane, Queensland.
Rocky Point, a third generation family business, supplies premium quality horticultural and landscaping products to the retail garden, nursery, agriculture, home gardeners and erosion management industries and, like Hyne Timber, prides itself on sustainable and locally sourced feedstock.
“We completed the Hyne Timber transaction exactly a year ago, and we are delighted with what has been achieved during this period in terms of achieving synergies and sharing best practice. This transaction forms part of the long-term strategy to grow our presence in Australia, particularly with another family owned company which shares our values” commented Tom Bruce-Jones, Chairman of James Jones & Sons Ltd.
