David Leslie, Joint Managing Director of James Jones & Sons was delighted to present the Tom A Bruce-Jones Memorial Award for Future Leader in the Forest Industry to Jillian Kennedy, Senior Forest Manager at Scottish Woodlands.
Jillian has become a recognisable face on UK and European policy stages in recent years. As National Chair of the Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs and a Director of the Perthshire Agricultural Society, she works to foster greater understanding between farmers and foresters, and to build stronger rural communities.
David, who presented Jillian with a beautiful bowl created by Pitlochry wood turner, Angus Clyne, commented "Jillian is a very deserving recipient of this award. We are delighted to recognise her achievements and look forward to seeing the continued impact of her work both within the forest industry and in the wider rural sphere."
