Our Lockerbie site recently received a visit from 31 HNC Forestry students.
The visit included a presentation on James Jones & Sons followed by a discussion on a wide range of topics including; species choice for commercial planting, UK timber processing capabilities, global movements of sawn softwood timber and career pathways within the forest industry, led by Rob MacKenna. The students were than taken for a tour of the site by Fergus Simister and Grant Fraser, Trainee Managers based at Lockerbie.
