Our Annan sawmill donated a defibrillator to the local community last week.
This community project was initiated by our employees, who have known residents within Annan and an ex-employee that passed away due to a heart attack. The closest defibrillator was in the high street.
The area around the sawmill is a very popular exercise route for the Annan locals, so we have installed a defibrillator in the car park and it has also been added to the National Defibrillator Network.
The community have been very pleased to accept our gesture.
