The new incising line at our Aboyne sawmill, which complements the incising line installed at Lockerbie in 2013, is now up and running
The investment in Aboyne is allowing us to meet the ever growing demand for our 15 year warranted, incised fence posts. The new incising line coupled with the new treatment tank being installed at Aboyne, offering both green and brown treatment, will mean that we will be able to double our incised output of 75mm x 75mm and 100mm x 100mm fence posts. As the picture shows, incising allows the treatment chemical to penetrate deeper into the wood, giving a greatly enhanced performance for ground contact timber.
