New CPD release for Timber Systems Division

James Jones & Sons Timber Systems Division has released a new CPD (Continuing Professional Development) on Engineered Wood Products for Modern Methods of Construction – I-Joists.

This CPD presentation is for Architects, Engineers and other Design Professionals who are responsible for the design and specification of new and refurbished buildings.

The new CPD has up-to-date information on the technical and commercial benefits of using I-Joists, providing assurance to the specifier that I-Joists can readily be used in all aspects of construction, from cost effective structural element design, to use within thermally efficient buildings and are ideal for the latest Offsite manufacturing and Modular (OSM) construction applications.

Within the presentation are various videos, including the manufacturing of I-Joists, manufacturing and secondary processing of Glulam and CLT and a video showing the installation of a panelised I-Joist roof system.
