Back in August 2023 James Jones & Sons sponsored Kayleigh Llewellyn to take part in the British Transplant games in memory of her teenage heart donor.
The 16 year old daughter of Shaun Sidney from our Durham site completed an incredible 2.5 mile run in the British Transplant Games as she joined thousands of others whose lives have been affected by organ donation.
Kayleigh travelled to Doncaster after the event to visit mother of donor, Shirley Wright, and present her with the medal she had engraved with the words “Our hearts are one. Sinead Bree my beautiful donor”.
