James Jones and Sons Ltd has supplied the timber for the viewing platform in the grounds of the Forth Valley Royal Hospital, near Larbert.

Situated just half a mile from James Jones' Head Office, the hospital grounds feature a small loch which now has a handsome viewing platform, built by Forestry Commission Scotland and designed by George Watt and Stewart Architects of Aberdeen. The platform was constructed using Scottish Douglas Fir cut at our Kirriemuir Mill and kiln dried at our Aboyne Mill, where the kilns are heated using heat from our own, on-site, biomass boiler.
