James Jones & Sons has been voted Sawmiller of the Year in this year’s TTJ Awards. The event took place on Friday at the Hilton Bankside Hotel, London.
The TTJ awards has been held by the Timber Trade Journal since 1997 and the event has grown into the timber industry’s leading annual awards event, attracting attendees from the UK and worldwide. Representatives from across the timber industry attended the event, which rewards excellence in the timber product industries, recognising companies in the sawmilling, importing, merchanting, manufacturing and structural timber sectors.
The voted awards represent the largest exercise of its kind in the UK timber products industry, with buyers (including merchants, manufacturers, builders, contractors, architects, and specifiers) voting for their best performing suppliers, rating them for value for money, customer service, product quality, product range and deliveries. This year’s Sawmiller of the Year award was sponsored by Koppers.
