James Jones & Sons Timber Systems Division has announced its market leading JJI-Joists are now available within the MiTek PAMIR timber frame module.
This latest development allows the timber frame designer to access and specify the full range of JJI-Joists within the timber frame kit, including tools and outputs for JJI-Joist floor, roof and wall cassettes for Modern Methods of Construction and offsite applications.
Angus Macfarlane, General Manager of James Jones & Sons Timber Systems Division, said “Our technical team have developed our JJI-Design software over a number of years and the sustained investment in new innovations has been a key part of our strategy. This latest bolt-on development allows the software to integrate with other third party suppliers providing further design flexibility”.
James Jones & Sons Timber Systems Division is currently working on the next version of its own comprehensive JJI Design software in addition to a new and improved version of its popular single member design software ‘JoistMaster’. This will expand the software offering further, providing reliable, user friendly tools to architects and engineers involved in the new build and RMI markets as well as educational tools for engineering students.
