James Jones & Sons funded the installation of a defibrillator local to its sawmill in Mosstodloch. Local charity, Keiran's Legacy installed the life saving piece of kit, while James Jones & Sons fully funded it. The defibrillator has been installed on the outside of the Speymouth Hall building in the village and will be accessible 24/7 for those who may need to use it.
Brian Johnston, Chairman of Speymouth Hall, was delighted to see the defibrillator installed after the village initially struggled to fund it. He commented "We know that there are a few defibrillators in Fochabers, but Mosstodloch is expanding and new housing is being built, so we've got more people in the village. If something happened and someone had to travel further afield because we didn't have a defibrillator, then that could be the difference between life or death so we felt that Mosstodloch really needed one. It's on the outside of the building, so it's available to anybody who may need to use it which is also important. It's just excellent news for the village."
