There was a real buzz around Lockerbie recently when the site welcomed international guests following the TIMCON AGM and Annual Dinner in Edinburgh.
Among the visitors were Scott Geffros, CEO of the Canadian Wood Pallet and Container Association and Manager of the Canadian Heat Treatment Certification Program, and Dan Clark, a New York Times bestselling author and international speaker on motivation, resilience, leadership and change.
The visitors were given a tour of the Lockerbie operations, providing an opportunity to see the mills in action and learn more about James Jones & Sons and our approach to timber processing.
While the visit was enjoyed by everyone, it was particularly memorable for Amy, who was delighted to discover that one of the guests was none other than Dan Clark – one of her favourite authors. A long-time fan who has read many of Dan’s 37 books and regularly recommends them to friends and colleagues, Amy was understandably excited to meet him in person. After hearing just how big a fan Amy is, Dan even took her details so that he could send her some memorabilia.
