James Jones & Sons is deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. As the longest ever reigning monarch, she demonstrated her devotion to the United Kingdom over 70 years of loyal service and her strong sense of duty and commitment to the country will remain a legacy for many years to come.
We would especially like to recognise her support to the Scottish Highlands and rural based industries. One of her most recent initiatives being ‘The Queen’s Green Canopy’, a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, which invited people from across the United Kingdom to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee”. The Queen had a lifelong love of Scotland and her own Scottish heritage was an important part of her life.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s loss will be felt across the United Kingdom and around the world and our heartfelt condolences are extended to the Royal Family at this difficult time.
