Durham site hosts visit from author of 'Timber! How wood can save the world from climate breakdown'

Our Durham site hosted a visit from Paul Brannen, former MEP and Author of ‘Timber! How wood can save the world from climate breakdown'. Paul recently published his book about the role that timber can play in the built environment in reducing carbon emissions and tackling the impacts of climate change.

This was a very good opportunity to show Paul what James Jones & Sons do across the Group, tour the existing mill at Durham and look at the progress being made at the construction site of the new state-of-the-art mill. There was also plenty of time to discuss ways that we can be more politically engaged as an industry.
