We were delighted to host a visit from staff and students of Bangor University as part of their annual Postgraduate Forestry Study Tour, at Lockerbie for the 7th year running.
We discussed a range of topics including timber sourcing, commercial species selection, UK markets for sawn timber and the role of the timber industry in the rural economy, before touring some of the production facilities at the Stevens Croft site.
