We recently welcomed a group of students from the National School of Forestry, who are currently completing a a Professional Forester Degree Apprenticeship Programme. The visit formed part of their Wood Utilisation Module and allowed the students to learn about the full tree to timber process.
Emily Dixon, Apprenticeship Link Tutor (Forestry), said "The apprentices really enjoyed the visit and found it informative and beneficial to their current Wood Utilisation assignment. They gained a lot of knowledge around volumes processed and product specifications, which will be useful to include in their assignments."
