James Jones & Sons sponsored the ‘Private Housing Project of the Year’ category at the Structural Timber awards recently.
Featuring compelling examples of what can be achieved using the most natural and sustainable of materials, the 2022 Structural Timber Awards were a celebration of not only outstanding projects and inspiring individuals, but the coming together of an industry. Construction professionals were once again invited to congregate at this prestigious awards ceremony at the National Conference Centre, Birmingham, to celebrate architectural achievements and engineering ingenuity in timber construction.
The ‘Private Housing Project of the Year’ category was awarded to Citu for its ‘Climate Innovation District’. The Climate Innovation District is Citu’s flagship development located in Leeds city centre. It demonstrates that there is a better way to live within our cities. Once complete, the district will consist of 950 homes, workspaces, retail and a multi-generational building. All assembled from our timber frame panel system produced in our manufacturing facility. Citu was also awarded ‘Timber Frame Project of the Year’.
