James Jones & Sons Ltd Commissions New Kilns at Lockerbie Facility

A new bank of kilns has recently been commissioned at James Jones & Sons' Lockerbie facility. The addition of six new kilns supplied by Mahild makes Lockerbie the largest single kiln operation in the UK.

General Manager Eddie Balfour stated "In addition to our existing kiln capacity, these new kilns will enable us to dry the company's entire carcassing output and will help us to improve and enhance our carcassing capabilities".

Following the recent £25 Million investment in the new sawline at Lockerbie and significant additional capital expenditure in secondary processing, the Kiln facility upgrade further demonstrates the Group's continued focus on enhancing its range of products and services.
