James Jones & Sons’ Timber Systems Division is the UK’s largest manufacturer of FSC certified I-Joists, branded as JJI-Joists. 

Combining high-grade softwood with an engineered composite panel, JJI-Joists are used in commercial and residential construction as load-bearing and non load-bearing members for roofs, walls and floors. They offer several advantages over conventional structural products, including a composition that resists shrinking and warping, an excellent strength to weight ratio, straight and uniform dimensions, plus FSC and BREEAM accreditation.

Our Timber Services Division produces over six million linear metres of JJI-Joists each year and supplies all of the UK’s major housebuilders through an extensive distribution network, as well as timber frame manufacturing companies.
