In recognition of our stated commitment to ensuring verifiable sustainable forest management, James Jones & Sons Ltd has been awarded the FSC TRADA – Trak Chain of Custody Standard for all our mill and JJI-Joist operations. JJI-Joist has also been awarded the BM TRADA Chain of Custody Standard.

Turning to environmental management, James Jones & Sons Ltd was the first company in the UK to be awarded the International Environmental Standard ISO 14001 for both its harvesting and processing operations.

We continue to ensure that improvements in energy use, including transport and kiln drying, are targeted and quantifiable through our Carbon Footprint Advantage Life Cycle Assessment.
